China Glaze Passion For Petals

I had my eye on China Glaze Passion For Petals for a while, few weeks ago I finally picked it up. This one is from Avant Garden Collection from 2013. The color is beautiful, something from pink to red. I will wear this one mostly alone but it could be used in nail art as well.
Application was easy, it dried quickly. 2 coats are enough for full opacity.

Throwback Tuesday: Movies

Summer is perfect time to remember and re-watch some good old movies. This is little recap of few movies I was obsessing in my kid/teen years. I will start with my absolutely favorite teen romantic comedy. At the time there was so many movies like this one but 10 Things I Hate About You stands out and still brings a smile on my face. I adore Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger and their beautiful love story, when I think of them I think about this movie. It has been so long since I seen it but I still remember every single thing.

This post simply can not go without Titanic. Now this was true obsession. I've seen Titanic million times. I went to the movie theater twice and as a Christmas gift I got WHS ( new generations if you don't know what this is google it... haha ). I watched it every single day for weeks, after that only every few days. I know every scene and every little detail...do I have to mention my love for Leonardo DiCaprio? Those were the days! I was collecting everything, from mega posters to tiny magazine pics. I still like to watch this movie because it brings so much memories...and it is fun because I know know pretty much the whole movie by heart.

Cruel Intentions was also very popular. I don't have to say anything about the trio Sarah Michelle Geller, Reese Witherspoon and Rayan Phillippe. Each of them was prefect for the role and I'm sure that this movie would have the same success today as it had years ago. Lies and skeems, good girl vs bad girl is always a win. One more thing that always reminds me on this movie is theme song Bittersweet Symphony, whenever I hear it I imagine Rayn Phillippe walking down the street.

When I was teenager popular movies were romantic comedies, horror movies and disaster movies. When it was about saving the world Arrmagedon was my favorite. Whenever I catch it on TV I take a look because I still like it. It's funny and dramatic and it has everything you need to relax for a little while.

What's your favorite scary movie? Well none today but back in the day it was definitely Scream. When I was a kid I was crazy about these types of movies. And there were so many of them but Scream was ultimate scary movie.Everyone knows this is a classic and I bet everyone has seen it. My friends and I were watching this movie every sleepover and every birthday party. Scream 2 was also very good and popular but those that came after that didn't get my attention.

Empty #30

Today I have special edition for my empties. These deserve their own post with out mixing with my other empties.
The other day I finally went trough my nail polish stash. Since I don't have proper storage for my nail polishes I slowly lost track of what exactly I have and if I look for one color it always took me time to find it. Now everything is order but when I was going trough my stash I noticed that more then few nail polishes were dried. Now, I know there are thinners and stuff like that but I decided that with so, so many other polishes in my stash there is no need for me to try save these. Most of these polishes are my beautiful glitters worth saving but I'm not even sure how would that work. So, time to say goodbye :(  After so many beautiful manis, they go to history...

I divided them in two groups, here are pics and names:

Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter

Essence My Heart Is Beating Like A Jungle Drum

First thing that got my attention in Essence trend edition Exit To Explore was cute package. When I saw the display I was really hoping there will be something I like. And there was. I saw gorgeous gradient blush, since I can't get enough of them I picked it up. It has the longest name in the world: My Heart Beats Like A Jungle Drum. It contains 8,5 g of product.

When you open the blush, it looks just as beautiful as outside. There is pink / peach gradient blush which also smells really nice. Peachy tones are usually my favorite but I also like pink especially in summertime. The color in the pot is bright but there is no problem with application, even though it is pretty dusty it blends easily. I gently go in with the blush brush and I get really pretty color on my cheeks.

I'm sure I will use My Heart Is Beating Like A Jungle Drum a lot because I really like refreshing look it gives me. When mixed together the color is pink and I love how it looks. I usually reach for peachy shades, I use pinks as well but mostly only when they are new and then I go back to other products. I think I will stick to this one longer. This is going to be little change from Catrice Stone Blushed that I use lately.

Maybelline Color Show City Smoke

My latest buy is this beautiful grey nail polish, it is Maybelline Colors Show City Smoke. Completely opaque with 2 coats, has a gorgeous shiny finish but there is no shimmer. It applies easy and dries quickly. I love how City Smoke looks on it's own but I also love grey in combination with bright colors so those are the ways I will wear this beauty. I already tried it with pink top coat and it looks great.
I love the formula of Mayelline Color Show and I will check other colors for sure.

Empty #29

Treacle Moon Those Lemonade Days + mini Sweet Blueberry Memories  shower gel - this time I have one regular ( 500 ml ) and two mini bottles ( 60 ml ) of Treacle Moon shower gel. As you know they are one of my favorite brads. Both scents are fruity, first one is lemon and it smells exactly like that - lemon. I'm not big fan of lemon scent but this one was okay, however I will not buy it again. On the other hand here I have Sweet Blueberry Memories and I adore this scent. Sweet and fruity. I still have one mini bottle but I will purchase full size in future.

Aveo Fruchtetraum shower gel - another fruity shower gel, this one is orange, peach, strawberry and raspberry. Nice summer scent and quality.

Aussie Repair Miracle conditioner - I rarely reach for anything else except Loreal conditioners but I really wanted to try this one. My hair is really dry and this helps it to look better and it makes it softer. Also has beautiful sweet scent. I plan to repurchase this product very soon.

Avon Advance Techniques dry ends serum - this used to be one of my favorite products ever. I didn't used it for a long time and I had this bottle for a while. Since my ends were dry I started using it again. I don't know if the products has changed or my hair but I didn't see results. That was the reason I stopped using it in first place. When I apply it on my hair all I have are oily ends, my hair absorbs it but after that it is like I applied nothing.

Valentina Valentino perfume - Very beautiful perfume. I have a post about here click. Except the scent what I love about this perfume is that it was gift from my boyfriend, now husband for Valentine's Day long time ago ( Valentina, Valentino, Valentine's Day...You can see where he was going :) ) Lovely memories.

Avon Naturals Tea Tree and Cucumber face cream - I love these Naturals face creams, a product I would definitely repurchase. I have a post about them here.

Balea  50's Forever cream - Universal cream in the cutest package, I used this for my hands and legs. It smells beautiful, soaks in quickly and it is moisturizing. Also, I love that it is so small so I keep it in my bag. I had this one in my hospital baby bag, it was very useful and it took no space! Click.

Blogoversary!!

It is time for another dancing post because today is my blog's 6th birthday! S I X !!It is unbelievable to me that this blog exists for 6 years. I don't post as much as before because of lack of time but I still have motivation and desire. If you wonder why, this is good time to tell you that today I have another important date, my son is exactly one month old. So with him and a two year old it will be a challenge but hopefully this blog continues to be my little escape world. I still write down if I have blog post idea, I always take pictures of my nails and I never open a product before taking a pic. So I still have it...just need to find the time. But with everything that has changed past six years I'm happy that there was never a point where I wanted to stop this blog. So hopefully I will have a post like this one in a year :)

In the end I'm not going to talk numbers but I just realized, this is my post numer 1001! How cool is that!

Essence I Scream For Ice Cream! nail stickers

After very long time I bought nail stickers. I was buying them regularly when I started play with my nails but I stopped when I got better in nail art. Right now it is hard to find time for my nails, I'm happy when my nail polish is on...So to make them more interesting I often reach in my box with nail stickers. When I saw these in drugstore I picked them up immediately because they are fun summer addition.

You can find good amount of stickers with cute summer phrases, ice cream, sun...Perfect addition to any manicure. I think they will look best with pastel colors so for first mani I choose Sally Hansen Go Bananas and it looks so cute!

Do you use nail stickers or you prefer free hand nail art?

China Glaze Papa Don't Peach

I was always a fan of China Glaze summer collections. This summer's Lite Brites is very pretty collection and as soon as I saw it few nail polishes went on my wishlist. For now I have one, it is called Papa Don't Peach. This is beautiful neon orange nail polish. Perfection for summer. Very glittery and bright.
2 coats are enough for full coverage ( on my short nails ) and it dries very quickly which is very important to me. Applies easily. Summer favorite for sure!
