Random #14

Last day of the year is good time for random picture post. I don't have any wise words for you today just that I'm looking forward to 2017 and I'm not sad 2016 will go away. However, this is the year I will remember always because we welcomed new member of our family and our little family is not so little anymore. At last I'm never bored, that's impossible with two little ones. No matter how hard it gets sometimes, my world is filed with lots of laughter and happiness. So 2017 bring it on!
Happy New Year everyone!!

New in - September, October, November and December 2016

I've been going around this post for so long so now I have products from last four months to show you. Still, it is not huge amount of product for such a long time but there are few products here that I wanted for long time. If you look at the first photo you can see Catrice HD Liquid Coverage foundation which I wanted from the first time I saw it. Hopefully I will post my review soon. Also here are few nail polishes from my wish list: OPI Charmmy And Sugar, China Glaze Purple Panic, China Glaze Strawberry Fields Forever and Essence Better Then Gel top coat.

Next I have two photos with Treacle Moon and Balea products. Shower Gels on the first:Cute Stasuma Smile and Pretty Rose Hearts. Two Balea shower gels Marsh-Mallow and Schoko Love are in different bottles then usual, I guess they are limited edition.

Balea often has cutest package and you know I can't resist them when I see them. So when I saw carnival collection I just had to get it even though I don't need another hand and body lotion.
First product on the pic is Balea Melone liquid soap and this is something I can always buy without feeling guilty.

Here I have few different products. I have two dry shampoos, Aussie which I tried for the first time and sample of Batiste dry shampoo. Also here are two Aveo nail polish removers, Ebelin cotton pads, Maybelline BB Dream Fresh, Essence We Are Young ( click ) and OPI Pineapples Have Peelings Too ( click ).

And here it is...the most important item here...Givenchy Eaudemoiselle. Finally in my hands!! This was on my wish list for years! I love, love, love it!

Aveo Bali Lozus liquid soap, another soap here...we use them up quickly. These have new package which is little bit nicer then old package. I have two more Balea creams Fur Dich and Mit Liebe. I love these cute, little creams. I had every single one that came out in this line.

And the last photo is old but somehow I never posted it. I have my go to hair color from L'oreal and a brush but I still didn't use it so I can't say anything about it. Last product is a hair brush which I got  as a gift, unfortunately I don't know the brand but I can tell you it is great.

Do you have any of these products?

November nail art challenge: Woodland

Today I have the last mani from November nail art challenge, I could do this probably a week ago but I was trying out some new polishes that I have and now I finally made the last theme for the challenge. The theme was Woodland. I love how it turned out. I only did an accent nail with the tree and I really like it. This also reminded me why I love nail art challenges so much...Beside nail art I get to use nail polishes that I didn't use for a long time. Like Essence The Only Chance! I can't remember last time I used it and it is such a beauty. Hopefully I will continue with challenges in January!

I used: Essence The Only Chance!, China Glaze Snow, Golden Rose 106, Models Own Bronze Rage and p2 Tangerine Twist

Empty #32

L'Oreal Elseve Color Vive shampoo - this is large version of my usual shampoo which I'm using regularly for years. Great product, I can't even count how many bottles I used up trough the years.

Shower gels: Bebe Early Bird, Aveo Mandelmilch and Blea Abenteuer-lust - three shower gels that I really like and three brands I'm using regularly. Only reason why I don't repeat scents is because there is always something  new to try, so I always buy something I didn't tried yet.

Aveo Sensitiv hand soap - another regular in my empties, however I think this is the first time I tried this scent which is very nice.

Dove Original deo spray - It looks like I'm all about products I go back to this time because here I have yet another empty Dove which is my all time favorite deodorant.

Aveo nail polish remover - Now this a product that is in my empties for the first time ever. For some reason it took me years to try Aveo nail polish remover but now I seriously doubt I will buy any other remover ever again. The best remover ever! And the cheapest!

Balea Melon Tango body lotion - one of Balea limited edition body lotions and one of many in my stash. Since my stash is going away very slowly I used up this lotion for my hands and legs. I kept it around in my living room and used instead of hand cream. I used it up quickly and now this is my new way of getting rid of too many body lotions. Before I was using one at the time for my body but at this paste I will have them forever. When it comes to Melon Tango I have to say that I didn't like the scent. Way too sweet...interesting thing is that I had shower gel in same scent and I liked it, but the lotion was too much for me. Few times I used it for my body I hated it so it was better for me to use it just for hands and sometimes for my legs.

Catrice Steel My Heart -  really beautiful and interesting color. I'm sad it's gone but I believe I will find comfort in my huge nail polish stash.

Essence top coat - very good, quick drying top coat. Also very popular. I will probably buy Essence top coat once again.

Ebelin cotton pads - great product to finish post with so many products I'm using for a very long time. These cotton pads are definitely among my favorite products ever.

November nail art challenge: Geometric

Today I'm going to show you my geometric nails which are part of November nail art challenge. I decided to apply two colors as base, pink and white was my pick and I love how it turned out. After gradient base I stamped two geometric designs with black nail polish. In the end I applied glitter top coat to seal the design.

I used: China Glaze Snow, Essence Flamingo Rose, Malena number 2 and Essence Festival Of Color

November nail art challenge: Thanksgiving

Once again I'm late with the challenge. After this one I have two more themes and I decided that I will probably skip December challenge which is a shame because it's a Christmas challenge and I love those. Since I don't want post Christmas manis in the middle of January it is better this way. Also, I have few new nail polishes that I want to try and I really don't have time for everything especially in such busy month.
Today I have Thanksgiving nails. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in my country so this is my first time ever Thanksgiving mani. I googled a bit and this is what I came with. I applied white base and used some Thanksgiving colors with turkey on my accent nail.

I used: China Glaze Snow, Models Own Bronze Rage, p2 Tangerine Twist, p2 Lemon Drop and Essence Absolute Stylish

November nail art challenge: Weather

Today I'm here with quick post and quick mani. Today's theme for the challenge was Weather. My idea was to do something on every nail...so I have rain, grey cloud and a white cloud which was supposed to turn into sun on my pinky... but I forgot to take yellow nail polish from the box in my bedroom and kids are sleeping in there....so today is work with what you have kind of mani. Since I can't find it quietly I'm going to stick with clouds and have sun coming some other day.

I used: Catrice Up In The Air, Maybelline City Smoke and China Glaze Snow

November nail art challenge: Moustaches

November challenge can't be without moustaches and I was looking forward to this one. I knew I want pastel nails and I used my water decal moustaches that I have for years but I used them only once. This was perfect opportunity to use them again.

I used: Essence Flamingo Rose, Essence Iced Mint Frappe, p2 Violet Summerdream and Julep Blake

November nail art challenge: Gothic

Today's mani is part of November nail art challenge. The theme is Gothic. I'am surprised how much I like this manicure because this theme is so not me, but I love the end result of this. I knew I want to do something like this right away. I got this nail look with the sponge, it was really easy and surprise, surprise I did't made a huge mess :) I simply applied Essie Leading Lady on my nails and sponged tips of my nails with black nail polish.

Occasional dresses

Every now and then there is a question for many girls...What to wear on important occasions...You are a made of honor at the wedding? Your sibling or close member of family is getting married? You have a prom? You need to choose between short prom dresses, long sleeve prom dress or long prom dresses? Or you simply want to stand out and take your outfit on the next level? I'm all in for casual dress code these days but I would definitely say dress is my favorite clothing item. So when I need to dress up I usually pick a dress. Short skater dress is my go to dress in any occasion, casual or formal. It suit me best and it just makes me feel good, comfortable and safe. However I do hope I will opt for long dress at least one time. If nothing just to change things a little.

If you want play it safe with elegance on trend, long sleeve dress is a great choice especially if there is lace involved.

If you don't like long sleeve trend there is always many beautiful examples of long dresses, you can choose if you want it simple or something with embellishment, or if you want play with color and a pattern.

In the end there is always short dress. If nothing else works this is a safe choice, at least in my case.
If you want to see more cheap prom dresses or uk prom dresses , check out the links.

What is your first choice when it comes to occasional dresses?

Essence The Little X-Mas Factory swatches

Latest Essence trend edition is The Little X-Mas Factory. These products are picked by my husband, he was on little trip and this was his gift for me. He literally picked these in 10 seconds but still makeup is something that can make a girl happy and I love everything here.

I'm going to start with nail polishes. First one is I Still Believe In Santa Claus which is golden nail polish. I have a few golden nail  polishes in my stash and this one is definitely unique. This is not usual yellow gold...dirty gold comes in my mind and I hope you know what I mean :) It looks very nice and shimmery on nails. It is very opaque, I applied only one coat for pic below. It dries quickly.

Next one is pink called Santa Baby. Very pretty cream, I didn't go trough my stash but I'm sure I have few pinks which are very close to this one if not exactly the same. However, it is always great to have pink polish around so I don't mind and I'm gladly adding Santa Baby to my collection. It applies easily and it is opaque with only one coat. You can see that on pic bellow.

When you have Christmas collection you got to have a green in it. This one is called Meet Me Under The Mistletoe. It looks darker then I thought it would on my nails but it is still very pretty. This one also has great opacity but I applied 2 coats in the end because it looked little bit better then one coat.Like previous two nail polishes it applies easily and dries quickly. Each contains 8 ml of product.

After I showed you nail polishes let's look at lip products. First one is liptint called All I Want For X-Mas Is You. When you look at the bottle, you can easily replace it for nail polish but it is actually a lip product. You apply product on your lips with a brush like any other lipgloss. I admit it is little bit unusual, probably because it reminds me on nail polish bottle but it is actually very easy to work with it. When it comes to product itself, it reminds me on lip gloss we used back in high school, it gives you very little color on your lips. It stains your lips so when it dries it is not glossy, it just gives you refreshed look. I can see that some girls will be disappointed with something like that because it doesn't do much but to me it is actually helpful product. I'm always in a hurry so sometimes is good to have something that brings little bit of life to my lips haha. The color is pink, there is 6.5 ml of product in the bottle.

Next lip product is lip balm. I always love these lip balms in the pot, they are too cute. This one is called Merry Kissmas. I love every single Essence lip balm I  tried and I think I will love this one too. It feels nice on my lips, it doesn't dry them out. It is nurturing and translucent. There is 11.75 g of product in the pot.

Last product today is eyeshadow palette. It contains five baked eyeshadow. Total is 9, 78 g.

The colors are natural, earthy tones. Very good pick for your Christmas makeup look. I used them only once but I like the pigmentation of these eyeshadows. With base they were on my lids all day long.  On last pic you can see my swatches, you can see they look pretty good.

Did you tried anything From The Little X-Mas Factory? Which is your favorite product?

November nail art challenge: Leaves

Time for my 2nd mani for November challenge. I like the fall theme - leaves. I also love colors I used, which look better in real life as well as the whole manicure. When I look at my nails from normal distance they look really nice but closeup shows few flaws...However not so bad for my first ever leaves mani.

I used: Golden Rose number 330, p2 Tangerine Twist, Essence Waking Up  In Vegas and Golden Rose number 106
